Lunalilo Home offers Expanded Care Services for residents who require a higher level of assistance in their Activities of Daily Living and their Instrumental Activities of Daily Living . Expanded Care is provided on a space-available basis on the first floor of the Home. Hawaiʻi state regulations require that the resident have an independent case manager to oversee the Expanded services provided by the Home.
Involving a family member or caregiver in therapy services can promote carryover from skills gained in physical and occupational therapy for a patient’s successful transition back to home. The therapy teams work with family members and caregivers to help them understand the patient’s needs at home and offer functional and emotional support. We able to refer you to our partnered aged care service provider and help you lodge an application with the My Aged Care government funding program. Spencer, the Administrator, is always observing and comes around to the patients serveral times daily to see how you are doing and asks if you need anything. Hopefully I won''t need this type of facility again but if I do I''d return to Kei-.ai SouthBay in Gardena . We were already exposed, they promised she wouldn’t be alone and then a staff informed us she passed alone😢 . The room was a mess, the odor was strong and as I stated above she was dirty and smelled. She constantly had issues with her tv not working and then not fixing it. Can include music therapy, pet therapy, board games, and outdoor excursions.
